    Ingredients:

    1 medium head green cabbage (7 to 8 cups), cored and cut into 2-inch pieces

    1 medium onion, thinly sliced

    1 rib celery, finely diced

    2 (14.5-ounce) cans stewed tomatoes

    1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed tomato soup

    1 ½ tablespoons butter (or olive oil for a vegan option)

    1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled (or substitute with vegetable bouillon for a vegetarian option)

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    ½ teaspoon black pepper

    ¼ teaspoon celery seeds

    ¼ to ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for a spicy kick)

     

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Lightly spray a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray for easy cleanup.

    2. Combine Ingredients: Add the cabbage, onion, celery, stewed tomatoes, tomato soup, butter (or olive oil), bouillon, and seasonings to the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.

    3. Cook Low and Slow: Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours. Stir halfway through to ensure even cooking.

    4. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and add salt or additional seasonings as needed.

    5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm as a hearty side dish or pair with crusty bread for a light meal.
