Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat or chuck roast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups beef broth
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 bay leaf
3 cup egg noodles
1/4 cu flour
1/4 cupwater
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the beef on all sides for extra flavor (optional).
Transfer beef to the slow cooker. Add onion, garlic, beef broth, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaf.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
Remove the bay leaf, then add egg noodles. Stir to combine.
Mix flour + water to create a slurry and stir it into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
Add Worcestershire sauce, stir well, and cook for another 30 minutes until noodles are soft.
