Juicy chicken breasts are topped with a creamy, seasoned cream cheese layer that melts beautifully in the oven, creating a comforting, family-friendly casserole everyone loves.

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or dried basil & oregano)
    ½ teaspoon paprika
    ½ teaspoon salt (plus more for chicken)
    ¼ teaspoon black pepper (plus more for chicken)
    ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1–2 tablespoons olive oil
    Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray.

    Pat chicken breasts dry. If thick, slice or pound to even thickness for even cooking.

    Place chicken in the dish, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

    In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.

    Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

    Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast.

    Bake uncovered for 25–35 minutes, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and topping is bubbly and lightly golden.

    Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for a more golden top (watch closely).

    Rest 5 minutes, garnish if desired, and serve warm.
