    Shrimp and Vegetable Stir-Fry Recipe

     

    Looking for a flavorful and easy dinner idea? This Shrimp and Vegetable Stir-Fry is packed with juicy shrimp, crisp veggies, and a savory stir-fry sauce that comes together in just 20 minutes. Perfect for a weeknight meal, this Asian-inspired recipe is light, healthy, and full of flavor!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
    1 tbsp sesame oil
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp grated ginger
    1 cup broccoli florets
    1 large carrot, thinly sliced
    1 red bell pepper, sliced
    1 small onion, sliced
    2 tbsp water or chicken broth
    1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
    1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
    Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

    Directions:

    Marinate Shrimp: Toss shrimp with 1 tbsp soy sauce and set aside.
    Cook Shrimp: Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
    Sauté Aromatics: Add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
    Cook Vegetables: Add broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
    Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch (if using). Pour over the veggies and stir well.
    Combine & Serve: Return shrimp to the skillet, toss everything together for 1–2 minutes, then garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

    Tips & Variations:

    Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for a spicy shrimp stir-fry.
    Swap shrimp for chicken, beef, or tofu for a different protein.
    Serve over steamed rice, quinoa, or noodles for a complete meal.
