Ingredients:

1 lb fresh sea scallops

Salt & black pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

Fresh parsley, chopped

 

Instructions:

1. Pat scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear scallops for 2 minutes on each side until golden and caramelized. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are tender and fragrant.

4. Pour in the heavy cream. Stir and let simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens into a rich, creamy consistency.

5. Return the scallops to the pan for 1–2 minutes to heat through and absorb the flavor.
