Savory Black Pepper Beef Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced (great for stir-fry)
1 onion, thinly sliced
3–4 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Steamed white rice (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch and 1 tsp soy sauce. Toss to coat and let it marinate while you prep the sauce and veggies.
2. Prepare the Stir-Fry Sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix the remaining soy sauce with oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Set aside.
3. Cook the Beef:
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and almost cooked through.
4. Add the Vegetables:
Toss in the sliced onion and green onions. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
5. Add the Sauce:
Pour the black pepper stir-fry sauce into the wok. Toss everything together until the beef and vegetables are evenly coated and the sauce is hot.
6. Serve:
Spoon the beef stir-fry over a bed of hot steamed rice and serve immediately.
