Sausage, Egg, and Cream Cheese Hashbrown Casserole

Start your morning right with this easy Sausage, Egg, and Cream Cheese Hashbrown Casserole! Packed with protein, hearty hashbrowns, and melty cheddar, it’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

    Ingredients:

    1 lb breakfast sausage
    6 large eggs
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    3 cups frozen hashbrowns, thawed
    1/2 cup milk
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped chives or green onions for garnish (optional)

    Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish for easy cleanup.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add softened cream cheese and beat until smooth (a few small lumps are fine). Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper for extra flavor.

Layer hashbrowns, cooked sausage, and shredded cheddar cheese in the prepared baking dish. Pour the egg and cream cheese mixture evenly over the top. Gently shake or stir the dish so everything is evenly coated.

Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Garnish with chopped chives or green onions if desired. Serve warm for breakfast, brunch, or a hearty dinner.
