    Philly Steak Cheese Fries

These Philly Steak Cheese Fries are the ultimate comfort food, combining crispy waffle fries with tender steak, sautéed peppers, onions, and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, they’re sure to be a hit at your next gathering. Ready in just 30 minutes, they deliver big flavor with minimal effort.

    Ingredients:

    – 1 lb steak, thinly sliced
    – 1 tsp garlic salt
    – 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    – 1 green bell pepper, sliced
    – 1 onion, sliced
    – 8-10 White American Cheese Slices
    – 20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries
    – 1 tbsp olive oil

    Directions:

    1. Preheat and Bake: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the waffle fries bag. Bake the fries until they’re crispy and golden.

    2. Cook the Steak: While the fries are baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the thinly sliced steak with garlic salt and black pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.

    3. Sauté the Veggies: Add sliced green bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and the steak is fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

    4. Assemble the Fries: Once the fries are ready, remove them from the oven. Spread the cooked steak and vegetables evenly over the fries.

    5. Melt the Cheese: Layer the White American Cheese slices over the steak and veggies. Place the loaded fries back in the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve these delicious Philly Steak Cheese Fries hot and watch them disappear!
