    Instructions

    2. Sauté Veggies & Steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Sauté onions (and bell peppers/mushrooms if using) until soft and slightly caramelized. Add sliced steak and cook just until browned. Season with salt and black pepper for balanced flavor.
    3. Prepare the Creamy Provolone Sauce:
      • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
      • Whisk in flour to form a smooth roux, cooking for 1 minute.
      • Slowly add milk while whisking continuously until sauce thickens.
