    Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Recipe

     

    Combining tender beef sirloin, sautéed bell peppers, and onions with creamy provolone and mozzarella cheeses, this dish is a hearty twist on the classic cheesesteak.

    Perfectly cooked penne or rigatoni pasta soaks up the rich flavors of beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. This easy-to-make meal is ideal for weeknight dinners or special occasions. Garnished with fresh parsley, it’s a comforting and delicious dish the whole family will love.

     

    Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Recipe

    Ingredients for Philly Cheesesteak Pasta:
    – 1 lb penne or rigatoni pasta
    – 1 lb thinly sliced beef sirloin
    – 2 tbsp olive oil
    – 1 large onion, thinly sliced
    – 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    – 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – 1 cup beef broth
    – 1 cup heavy cream
    – 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    – 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
    – 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

    Instructions for Making Philly Cheesesteak Pasta:

    1. Cook the Pasta:
    – Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and set

    2. Prepare the Beef:
    – Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

    3. Sauté the Vegetables:
    – In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and the onion becomes translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

    4. Make the Sauce:
    – Add the beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir to combine the ingredients and bring to a simmer.

    5. Combine Everything:
    – Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly. Stir in the shredded provolone and mozzarella cheese until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.

    6. Serve Your Philly Cheesesteak Pasta:
    – Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
