    Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

     

    Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with our Philly Cheesesteak Pasta, a rich and creamy dish blending savory beef, bell peppers, and melted provolone cheese. Perfect for a quick and delicious weeknight dinner!

    Ingredients:

    – 1 lb ground beef
    – 1 green bell pepper, diced
    – 1 onion, diced
    – 3 cloves garlic, minced
    – 8 oz cream cheese
    – 1 cup beef broth
    – 1 cup heavy cream
    – 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
    – 1 lb pasta (penne or rigatoni)
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – 1 tablespoon olive oil

    Directions:

    1. Cook the Pasta: Prepare 1 lb of penne or rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    2. Sauté Veggies: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and 1 diced green bell pepper, cooking until soft, about 5 minutes.

    3. Add Garlic: Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves and cook for another minute until fragrant.

    4. Cook Ground Beef: Add 1 lb of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook until browned, then drain any excess fat.

    5. Creamy Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and stir in 8 oz of cream cheese until melted and combined.

    6. Mix in Broth and Cream: Pour in 1 cup of beef broth and 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring until smooth and heated through.

    7. Cheesy Goodness: Add 2 cups of shredded provolone cheese, stirring until melted and well incorporated.

    8. Season and Combine: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
