    Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls

     

    Bring the classic Philly cheesesteak experience into bite-sized perfection with these Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls! Crispy on the outside and loaded with tender beef ribeye, caramelized onions, colorful bell peppers, and gooey provolone cheese, they’re a crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s perfect for game day, parties, or family dinners.

    Ingredients:

    1 lb thinly sliced beef ribeye or sirloin
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
    1 cup shredded provolone cheese
    1 package egg roll wrappers
    Vegetable oil, for frying
    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Directions:

     

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced beef and cook until browned (about 5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.

    In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened (about 5 minutes), then season with salt and pepper.

    Return beef to the skillet, mix well with the veggies, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you. Add 2–3 tablespoons of the beef mixture and sprinkle with provolone cheese. Fold, tuck, and roll tightly, sealing edges with water.

    Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 375°F (190°C). Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

    Drain on paper towels and serve hot with cheese sauce, ranch, or garlic aioli.
