    Pepperoni Pizza Pockets Recipe

     

    Pepperoni Pizza Pockets Recipe

    If you love pizza, these Pepperoni Pizza Pockets are a quick and delicious way to enjoy your favorite flavors in a portable form. Perfect for a snack or a quick meal, these homemade pizza pockets are sure to be a hit!

    Ingredients
    – 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza crust (1 tube)
    – 6 tablespoons pasta sauce
    – 1 cup mozzarella cheese (or 6 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into small pieces)
    – 12 slices pepperoni
    – Olive oil
    – 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
    2. Prepare the Dough: Cut the pizza crust into 6 squares.
    3. Add Fillings: Spoon 1 tablespoon of pasta sauce into the center of each square. Top with mozzarella cheese (or cheese sticks cut into small chunks, using 1 cheese stick per pocket) and 2 slices of pepperoni per square.

    4. Form Pizza Pockets: Fold each square over to create rectangular pizza pockets. Pinch the edges together to seal. If desired, shape the rectangle into a half-circle or leave it as a rectangle.
    5. Seal and Season: Use a fork to seal the edges of each pocket. Place the pizza pockets on a large baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning or dried oregano.

    6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-13 minutes, until golden brown.
    7. Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
