    One Pot Old-Fashioned American Goulash

    A classic comfort food favorite made easy in one pot loaded with hearty beef, tender pasta, and rich tomato flavor. Perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, and make-ahead meal prep.

    Ingredients:

    1 tablespoon olive oil
    ½ yellow onion, diced
    1 bell pepper, diced
    1 pound ground beef
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    1 teaspoon seasoned salt
    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 can (15 oz) petite diced tomatoes, drained
    1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
    2 cups elbow pasta
    3 cups beef broth
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Directions:

    Sauté the Vegetables
    Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
    Brown the Ground Beef
    Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
    Season for Maximum Flavor
    Stir in garlic, seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
    Build the Goulash
    Add diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, uncooked elbow pasta, and beef broth. Stir well.
    Simmer Until Perfect
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
    Make It Cheesy
    Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
