    One-Pan Roasted Chicken Sausage and Veggie Skillet

     

    One-Pan Roasted Chicken Sausage and Veggie Skillet

     

    Looking for a quick, nutrient-rich one-pan dinner that’s both hearty and delicious? This Roasted Chicken Sausage and Vegetable Skillet is packed with flavor and loaded with wholesome ingredients like zucchini, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and chicken sausage. It’s perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or anyone following a clean eating plan!

    Ingredients:

    2 chicken sausages, sliced

    1 medium sweet potato, sliced into half-moons

    1 zucchini, sliced into half-moons

    1 cup broccoli florets

    ½ small onion, sliced

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1 tbsp soy sauce or balsamic glaze

    ½ tsp garlic powder

    ½ tsp smoked paprika

    ½ tsp salt

    ½ tsp black pepper

    1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

    How to Make This Chicken Sausage Veggie Skillet:

    Roast the Sweet Potatoes:

    Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.

    Add sweet potatoes and cook for 8–10 minutes until golden and tender.

    Remove from pan and set aside.

    Brown the Chicken Sausage:

    In the same skillet, cook the sliced chicken sausage for 4–5 minutes until browned.

    Remove and set aside.

    Sauté the Veggies:

    Add remaining olive oil to the pan.

    Toss in broccoli, zucchini, and onion.

    Cook for 5–7 minutes until crisp-tender and slightly caramelized.

    Combine and Season:

    Return sweet potatoes and sausage to the skillet.

    Add soy sauce or balsamic glaze.

    Sprinkle in garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

    Stir everything together and cook 2 more minutes.

    Top with sesame seeds (optional) and serve warm.
