One-Pan Roasted Chicken Sausage and Veggie Skillet

Ingredients:
2 chicken sausages, sliced
1 medium sweet potato, sliced into half-moons
1 zucchini, sliced into half-moons
1 cup broccoli florets
½ small onion, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce or balsamic glaze
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
How to Make This Chicken Sausage Veggie Skillet:
Roast the Sweet Potatoes:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
Add sweet potatoes and cook for 8–10 minutes until golden and tender.
Remove from pan and set aside.
Brown the Chicken Sausage:
In the same skillet, cook the sliced chicken sausage for 4–5 minutes until browned.
Remove and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies:
Add remaining olive oil to the pan.
Toss in broccoli, zucchini, and onion.
Cook for 5–7 minutes until crisp-tender and slightly caramelized.
Combine and Season:
Return sweet potatoes and sausage to the skillet.
Add soy sauce or balsamic glaze.
Sprinkle in garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Stir everything together and cook 2 more minutes.
Top with sesame seeds (optional) and serve warm.
