Ingredients:

500g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
4 burger buns
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping
Your favorite burger sauce or mayonnaise

Instructions:

 

In a large bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Shape into 4 even patties slightly larger than your burger buns.

Heat butter or olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and tender (5–7 minutes). Set aside.

Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side (for medium). In the last minute, place a slice of Swiss cheese on top to melt perfectly.

Toast your burger buns until golden and slightly crispy.

Layer each bun with a juicy Swiss cheese burger patty, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and burger sauce or mayo.
