    Moist Chocolate Loaf Cake Recipe

     

    This Moist Chocolate Loaf Cake is a rich and indulgent treat, perfect for chocolate lovers. Made with unsweetened cocoa powder and an optional touch of hot coffee, it delivers deep chocolate flavor in every bite. The soft, fluffy texture is enhanced by creamy butter and a hint of vanilla. Add semi-sweet chocolate chips for extra decadence. Enjoy it as a delightful dessert or a sweet afternoon treat!

    Ingredients:

    1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour

    1 ½ tsp baking powder

    ¼ tsp salt

    ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened

    1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

    2 large eggs

    1 tsp vanilla extract

    ½ cup (120ml) milk

    ¾ cup (75g) cocoa powder (unsweetened)

    ½ cup (120ml) hot water or hot coffee (for deeper flavor)

    ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Prep the oven and pan:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    2. Combine dry ingredients:
    In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.

    3. Cream butter and sugar:
    Using a mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).

    4. Add eggs and vanilla:
    Mix in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they’re fully incorporated. Stir in vanilla extract.

    5. Alternate wet and dry ingredients:
    Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the dry mixture, blending until just combined.

    6. Add hot water or coffee:
    Gently stir in the hot water or coffee to create a smooth, thin batter.

    7. Bake:
    Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the surface and bake for 55-65 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.

    8. Cool and serve:
    Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Tips for Success:

    Use hot coffee for an extra depth of chocolate flavor.

    Add chocolate chips for a gooey texture.
