    Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef
    1 jar spaghetti sauce
    8 oz cream cheese
    ¼ cup sour cream
    ½ lb cottage cheese (1 cup)
    ½ cup butter (1 stick)
    1 pkg spaghetti (16 oz)
    Grated cheddar cheese (as desired)

    Instructions:

    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Cook the spaghetti until al dente, drain, and set aside.
    Mix the creamy layer: Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
    Prepare the meat sauce: Brown the ground beef, drain, then mix in the spaghetti sauce.
    Assemble the casserole:
    Place a few slices of butter in the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
    Spread half of the cooked spaghetti on top.
    Add the cream cheese mixture over the noodles and spread evenly.
    Layer the remaining spaghetti noodles, topping with a few more butter slices.
    Pour the meat sauce evenly over the top.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Add the cheese: Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until melted and bubbly.
