12 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Fresh basil leaves
Directions:
Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, sauté the ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic until browned.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, basil, oregano, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 20–25 minutes until thick and flavorful.
In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup Parmesan, eggs, and heavy cream until smooth and luxurious.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in your baking dish.
Add noodles → cheese mixture → sauce.
Repeat layers, finishing with sauce.

Cover with foil and bake 25–30 minutes.
