Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (ideal for keto and low-carb diets)

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cups shredded green cabbage

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (no sugar added for keto)

1 cup low-carb tomato sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional but delicious!)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add in the shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle the top with shredded mozzarella cheese if desired for a cheesy, golden finish.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and the cheese is bubbling and golden.
