Ingredients:
12 oz (340g) penne or rotini pasta
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for a classic cheeseburger taste)
1 tbsp mustard (optional)
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, cooking until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease and set the beef aside.
Make the Creamy Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer gently.
Add the Cheese: Lower the heat and gradually stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted into a smooth, creamy sauce. Mix in ketchup and mustard for extra cheeseburger flavor.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta and browned beef to the skillet. Stir well until coated in the rich Alfredo sauce. Top with chopped pickles for an authentic cheeseburger twist.
