    Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta

     

    Get ready to fall in love with this Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta! This easy and delicious chicken recipe features juicy, tender chicken breasts cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce with a bright hint of lemon. Served with rich, creamy Parmesan pasta, it’s the ultimate comfort food for pasta lovers and the perfect quick dinner idea!

     

    Ingredients:

    For the Chicken:

    2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    2 tablespoons unsalted butter

    3 garlic cloves, minced

    Zest and juice of 1 fresh lemon

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

     

    Directions:

    1. Prepare the Chicken:

    Season both sides of the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.

    In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat.

    Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).

    Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside, keeping it warm.

    2. Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce:

    In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low and add 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.

    Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).

    Add the lemon zest and lemon juice, stirring to deglaze the pan and release any browned bits for extra flavor.

    3. Cook the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

    In the same skillet, pour in 2 cups of chicken broth or pasta cooking water and bring to a gentle simmer.

    Add 8 oz of uncooked pasta (like fettuccine or linguine) and cook, stirring often, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed (about 10-12 minutes).

    Stir in 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste.

    4. Combine and Serve:

    Slice the cooked chicken breasts and place them over the creamy Parmesan pasta.

    Spoon extra lemon garlic butter sauce over the top.

    Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.
