    Juicy Steak with Crispy Roasted Potatoes

    This juicy steak with crispy roasted potatoes is a simple, hearty, and satisfying dinner recipe that delivers bold flavor with minimal effort. Perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or a special weekend meal, this dish combines pan-seared steak with oven-roasted potatoes for a classic, crowd-pleasing plate.

    For the Steak
    1–2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    Salt & freshly ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 tablespoon butter
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

    For the Roasted Potatoes
    3–4 medium potatoes, diced
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    Salt & pepper, to taste
    Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

    Instructions:

    Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
    Toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    Spread evenly on a baking tray.
    Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy, golden, and tender.

    Pat the steaks dry with paper towels.
    Rub both sides with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

    Heat a heavy pan over high heat until very hot.
    Add the steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust to your preference).
    Add butter, crushed garlic, and herbs.
    Spoon the garlic butter over the steaks for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
