    Ingredients for Homemade Meatloaf

    Meatloaf Base:

    1 1/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

    1/4 cup milk

    1 lb. ground beef

    2 large eggs, beaten

    1 packet dry onion soup mix

    1 clove garlic, minced

    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    3 tablespoons ketchup

    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

    Sweet & Tangy Meatloaf Glaze:

    1/4 cup ketchup

    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    1 teaspoon yellow mustard

    How to Make Juicy Homemade Meatloaf

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    2. In a large bowl, combine oats and milk. Stir to coat and let soak for 15 minutes.
    3. Add ground beef, beaten eggs, onion soup mix, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and black pepper to the soaked oats.
    4. Use clean hands to mix everything together until well combined.
    5. Transfer the mixture to a 9×9-inch baking dish and form into a loaf about 1¾ inches thick.
    6. Bake for 30 minutes.
    7. While it bakes, prepare the meatloaf glaze by whisking together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
    8. After 30 minutes, remove the meatloaf from the oven. Brush the glaze over the top and sides of the meatloaf.
    9. Return to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes.
    10. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
