Ingredients:
Celery, chopped
Carrots, chopped
Onion, chopped
Garlic cloves
Chicken broth
Small pasta (Acini de Pepe, pastina, or orzo)
Fresh Parmesan cheese, grated

Optional: 1 egg (traditional in some versions)
Instructions:
In a large stock pot, bring the chicken broth to a gentle boil.
Add celery, carrots, onion, and garlic. Simmer until the vegetables are soft and tender.
Carefully transfer the cooked vegetables to a blender and blend until smooth, creating a creamy vegetable base.
Pour the blended mixture back into the pot with the broth.
