    Italian Garlic Chicken Meatballs with Creamy Bowties

     

    Italian Garlic Chicken Meatballs with Creamy Bowties

     

    Indulge in this creamy, garlicky Italian chicken meatball pasta a perfect blend of juicy baked meatballs, rich Parmesan, and velvety mozzarella sauce. This easy weeknight dinner is packed with flavorful herbs, tender bowtie pasta, and a luscious cream sauce that makes every bite irresistible!

    Ingredients:

    8 oz bowtie pasta

    1 lb ground chicken

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1/4 cup breadcrumbs

    1 large egg

    1 teaspoon dried oregano

    1 teaspoon dried basil

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 cup heavy cream

    1/2 cup chicken broth

    1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Directions:

    Step 1: Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

    Step 2: Prepare the Chicken Meatballs

    In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well, then shape into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.

    Step 3: Bake Until Golden

    Bake for 15-18 minutes until the meatballs are golden brown and fully cooked.

    Step 4: Cook the Pasta

    While the meatballs bake, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Step 5: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer, then stir in mozzarella cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.

    Step 6: Combine & Serve

    Add the baked meatballs and cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss everything together until fully coated. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!

    Cooking Time: 30 minutes
