    This irresistible strawberry cake combines fresh strawberries and a sweet strawberry jam layer, topped with a luscious strawberry glaze, making it a perfect homemade dessert.

    Ideal for any occasion, it’s easy to bake and bursting with fruity flavor.

    Irresistible Strawberry Cake Recipe

    Ingredients:

    – 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    – 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
    – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    – 2 large eggs
    – 1/2 cup milk
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    – 1 teaspoon baking powder
    – 1/4 teaspoon salt
    – 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
    – 1/2 cup strawberry jam
    – 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    – 2-3 tablespoons strawberry puree (for glaze)
    – Fresh strawberries for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan to prevent sticking.

    2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

    3. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    4. Add Vanilla: Mix in the vanilla extract.

    5. Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.

    6. Fold in Strawberries: Gently fold in the diced fresh strawberries.
    7. Layer the Batter: Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread the strawberry jam over the batter, then pour the remaining batter over the jam.

    8. Bake: Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

    9. Prepare the Glaze: Whisk together the powdered sugar and strawberry puree until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaf cake.

    10. Garnish: Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
