These irresistible mozzarella cheese sticks are a quick and easy homemade snack, baked to golden perfection and perfect for dipping in marinara sauce.

With a crispy breadcrumb coating and gooey mozzarella center, they’re a crowd-pleasing appetizer for any occasion.

    Irresistible Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Recipe.

    Ingredients:

    – 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
    – 1 cup all-purpose flour
    – 2 eggs, beaten
    – 1 cup breadcrumbs
    – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    – 1/2 teaspoon paprika
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – Marinara sauce, for dipping

    Directions:

    1. Prepare the Mozzarella: Cut the mozzarella cheese sticks in half to make 24 pieces.

    2. Season the Breadcrumbs: In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    3. Dredge in Flour: Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, shaking off any excess.

    4. Coat with Egg: Dip the floured mozzarella sticks into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

    5. Bread the Sticks:
Roll the egg-coated sticks in the seasoned breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

    6. Freeze the Mozzarella Sticks:
Place the coated mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 30 minutes.

    7. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line another baking sheet with parchment paper.

    8. Bake to Perfection:
Arrange the frozen mozzarella sticks on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

    9. Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
