    Indulge in our mouthwatering Mozzarella Stick Onion Rings recipe, a savory treat that’s sure to impress with its cheesy goodness!

    Ingredients:
    – 2 large white onions
    – 3 slices mozzarella cheese
    – 2 cups all-purpose flour (250 g)
    – 5 eggs
    – 2 cups breadcrumbs (230 g)
    – Oil, for frying
    – Marinara sauce

     

    Preparation:
    1. Peel and slice the onions into 1-centimeter (½ inch) rings, separating them into individual rings.
    2. Cut the mozzarella into 4 even strips.
    3. Take a smaller onion ring and place it in the center of a larger one.

     

    4. Fill the gap between the rings with the mozzarella strips, adding an extra layer of cheese for enhanced flavor. Repeat with the remaining onion rings and freeze for 1 hour.
    5. Prepare three separate bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
    6. Coat each prepared onion ring in flour, then dip it into the egg, followed by the breadcrumbs, egg again, and a final coating of breadcrumbs. Repeat with all onion rings and return them to the freezer.
    7. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350˚F (175˚C).

     

    8. Fry the coated onion rings until they turn golden brown, ensuring not to overcook to prevent cheese from oozing out completely.
    9. Drain the fried onion rings on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
    10. Serve these delectable Mozzarella Stick Onion Rings with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
