Homemade Peach Jalapeño Jam Recipe
This Peach Jalapeño Jam combines the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with the bold kick of fresh jalapeños, creating the perfect balance of fruity and spicy. It’s an easy jam recipe that works beautifully on toast, crackers, cheese boards, or even as a glaze for grilled meats.
Ingredients:
5–6 medium ripe peaches (peeled, pitted, and finely chopped)
4–5 fresh jalapeños (seeded and finely chopped)
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 cups granulated sugar
Instructions:
Prep the fruit and peppers Peel, pit, and finely chop the peaches. Seed and chop the jalapeños.
Cook the mixture In a large saucepan, combine peaches, jalapeños, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Sweeten & thicken Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Maintain a rolling boil for 15–20 minutes, stirring often, until the jam thickens.
Test for doneness Dip a spoon into the jam; it should coat the back without dripping.
Jar the jam Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving ¼-inch headspace. Seal tightly and let cool before storing.
