This creamy cheesecake features a delectable chocolate cookie crust and is topped with whipped cream and cherry pie filling, making it an irresistible dessert for any occasion. With a prep time of just 30 minutes and a chilling time of 5 hours, it’s both easy to make and sure to impress. Each slice offers a satisfying 450 calories, striking a delightful balance between indulgence and enjoyment. Treat yourself and your loved ones to this sweet escape!

    Ingredients:

    For the Crust:

    2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

    1/4 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

    For the Cheesecake Filling:

3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

    1 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup sour cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    3 large eggs

    1 cup cherry pie filling

    For the Topping:

    1 cup heavy cream

    2 tablespoons powdered sugar

    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 cup cherry pie filling

    Chocolate shavings

    Directions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan, ensuring a healthy cooking surface to avoid sticking and keep your kitchen safe.

    2. In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan for a solid foundation just like a solid health insurance plan.

    3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth, ensuring a creamy consistency that promotes a delicious dessert experience. Add sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.

    4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition for an even texture similar to the careful consideration needed when choosing the right health coverage.

    5. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust. Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the batter for a fruity kick. Pour the remaining batter on top, ensuring balanced flavors for every bite.

    6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour, allowing it to cool gradually just like allowing your mind to settle after researching health options.

    7. Remove from the oven and cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture, akin to taking your time to understand health insurance policies.

    8. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until it begins to thicken. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form a sweet reward for your patience, much like the benefits of good health insurance.

    9. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake. Spoon cherry pie filling on top and sprinkle with chocolate shavings for that perfect finishing touch.

    10. Refrigerate until ready to serve, ensuring it’s cool and ready to delight your guests.
