This Old-Fashioned Chili Mac is the ultimate one-pot comfort food, combining savory ground beef, tender elbow macaroni, and rich tomato flavor.
Seasoned with chili and garlic powder, it’s a hearty meal that’s easy to make and perfect for busy weeknights.

This dish is budget-friendly, filling, and packed with nostalgic flavor.
Great for family dinners, potlucks, or meal prep Chili Mac is always a crowd-pleaser!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 small onion, finely diced

    2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

    1 tbsp chili powder

    1 tsp garlic powder

    Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but delicious!)

    Instructions:

    1. In a large skillet or deep pot, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until beef is fully browned. Drain any excess fat.

    2. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chili powder, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.

    3. Add in the elbow macaroni and 2 cups of water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and tender.

    4. If desired, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

    5. Serve hot and enjoy this easy, cheesy, and classic American chili mac dinner with your family!
