    Hearty Cheesesteak Baguette

    Hearty Cheesesteak Baguette

    Ingredients:

    – 1 large French bread loaf
    – 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
    – 2 tablespoons olive oil
    – 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    – 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – 8 slices provolone cheese
    – 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    – 1 tablespoon horseradish
    – 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

    Directions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
    3. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise. Hollow out the top and bottom halves slightly to make room for the filling.
    5. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, horseradish, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture on both halves of the bread.
    6. Layer the steak, cooked vegetables, and provolone cheese on the bottom half of the bread. Place the top half of the bread on top.
    7. Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasty.
    8. Slice and serve warm.
