    Healthy Ground Beef & Cabbage Stir Fry Recipe

Packed with lean protein, crunchy veggies, and savory Asian flavors, this low-carb stir fry recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or anyone following a keto-friendly or low-carb diet.

     

    Ingredients:

    1 lb lean ground beef (high protein, low fat)

    ½ head green cabbage, thinly sliced (fiber-rich and crunchy)

    1 medium carrot, julienned (adds color & sweetness)

    1 tablespoon sesame oil (for rich, nutty flavor)

    3 cloves garlic, minced (adds bold aroma)

    1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (spicy, zesty flavor)

    2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (classic savory umami)

    1 tablespoon rice vinegar (for a tangy, bright finish)

     

    Directions:

    In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil over medium-high heat.

    Add 1 lb lean ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat if needed.

    Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant this is where the magic starts!

    Add the thinly sliced green cabbage and julienned carrot to the skillet. Toss well to combine with the beef mixture.

    Pour in the low-sodium soy sauce and rice vinegar. Stir-fry everything together for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender-crisp and slightly caramelized.

    Taste and adjust seasonings as desired add more soy sauce for saltiness or a splash of vinegar for extra tang.

    Serve hot! Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

    For extra heat, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes or drizzle with sriracha.
