Ground Turkey Teriyaki Stir-Fry
This Ground Turkey Teriyaki Stir-Fry is a quick, healthy, and delicious meal packed with lean protein, crisp veggies, and a savory-sweet teriyaki glaze! Perfect for busy weeknights, this Asian-inspired stir-fry is ready in just 25 minutes and pairs beautifully with rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 bell pepper, sliced
1/2 cup carrots, julienned
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
1 tbsp green onions, chopped (optional)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes).
Stir in onion & garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
Pour the sauce over the stir-fry, mixing well. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Season with salt & pepper, then garnish with sesame seeds & green onions.
Serve hot with steamed rice, quinoa, or noodles!
