    Garlic Butter Beef Steaks with Cheesy Potato Bake

     

    Indulge in the savory flavors of Garlic Butter Beef Steaks paired with a richm Cheesy Potato Bake, perfect for a comforting and satisfying meal. This easy recipe combines tender, juicy steaks with creamy, cheesy potatoes for a delightful

    Ingredients:

    For the Beef Steaks:
    – 4 beef steaks (sirloin or ribeye recommended)
    – 4 cloves garlic, minced
    – 3 tbsp butter
    – 1 tbsp olive oil
    – Salt and pepper, to taste
    – 1 tsp dried thyme
    – 1 tsp dried rosemary

    For the Cheesy Potato Bake:
    – 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
    – 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    – 1 cup heavy cream
    – 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – Salt and pepper, to taste
    – 1 tsp dried thyme
    – 1 tsp dried rosemary

    Instructions:

    Beef Steaks:

    1. Season the Steaks: Generously season the beef steaks with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary on both sides.

    2. Cook the Steaks: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.

    3. Prepare Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over them. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.

    Cheesy Potato Bake:

    1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. Layer the Potatoes: In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and half of the minced garlic. Top with half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers.

    3. Add the Cream: Pour the heavy cream evenly over the layered potatoes. Sprinkle with dried thyme and rosemary.

    4. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.

    5. Serve: Serve the beef steaks with the cheesy potato bake, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

    Notes:

    – For extra flavor, marinate the beef steaks in your favorite marinade for a few hours before cooking.

    – For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
