    Florida Shrimp Pie Recipe

Craving a taste of the coast? This Florida Shrimp Pie is a creamy, savory seafood delight! Packed with juicy shrimp, bell peppers, and seasoned with Old Bay, it’s baked in a buttery deep-dish crust and topped with a crispy golden panko finish. Perfect for a family dinner or an easy seafood casserole option!

    Ingredients:

    1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie crust

    2 tablespoons unsalted butter

    ½ cup finely chopped onion

½ cup chopped bell pepper (any color)

    1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    ½ cup mayonnaise

    2 large eggs, lightly beaten

    ½ cup panko breadcrumbs

Salt and black pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper until soft, about 5 minutes.

    3. Stir in Old Bay seasoning, then add shrimp and cook just until pink (about 2-3 minutes). Remove from heat.

    4. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked shrimp mixture, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and beaten eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    5. Spoon the filling into the pie crust and spread evenly.

    6. Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over the top for a crispy, golden finish.

    7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is lightly browned.

    8. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

    Perfect for:

    Seafood lovers

    Shrimp casserole fans

    Florida seafood recipe seekers

    Quick weeknight dinners

    Pro Tip:

Serve with a fresh garden salad or coleslaw for a complete coastal-inspired meal.
