    Fiery Beijing Beef Stir-Fry with Crispy Edges and Bold Asian Flavors

    Bring restaurant-style Beijing Beef to your kitchen with this quick and easy stir-fry recipe! Featuring crispy beef strips, spicy garlic-ginger sauce, and colorful stir-fried veggies, this dish is a bold and satisfying Asian-inspired dinner that’s ready in just 30 minutes. Perfect for fans of homemade takeout, spicy stir-fry beef, and easy weeknight meals!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced (for tender stir-fry beef)

    2 tablespoons cornstarch (for a crispy coating)

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    1 red bell pepper, sliced

    1 onion, sliced

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

    1/4 cup soy sauce (use low-sodium for healthier option)

    2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

    2 tablespoons rice vinegar

    2 tablespoons sugar (or honey)

    1 teaspoon chili paste or red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

    1 teaspoon sesame oil

    2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

    Sesame seeds (optional garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Crisp the Beef: In a large bowl, coat thin beef slices in cornstarch. Shake off any excess.

    2. Heat oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until crispy and browned on all sides (about 4–5 minutes). Set aside.

    3. Sauté the Veggies: In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, onion, and red bell pepper for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.

    4. Make the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, chili paste, and sesame oil in a bowl.

    5. Combine: Return the beef to the pan. Pour sauce over the beef and veggies, tossing everything together. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and glazes everything.

    6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over steamed white rice or fried rice.
