    Epic Chocolate Overload Explosion Cake

     

    Indulge in this Epic Chocolate Overload Explosion Cake a rich, moist, and fluffy chocolate cake layered with creamy cocoa frosting and topped with chocolate candies. Perfect for chocolate lovers and special celebrations!

    Ingredients:

    For the Cake:
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 cups granulated sugar
    3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup buttermilk
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 large eggs
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup hot water or hot coffee (enhances chocolate flavor)
    For the Frosting:
    1 cup unsalted butter, softened
    3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    2 tsp vanilla extract

    For Decoration:
    1 cup assorted chocolate candies (mini bars, chips, shavings)
    Chocolate syrup for drizzling
    Chocolate sprinkles

    Instructions:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.

    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Mix until smooth. Gradually stir in hot water or coffee batter will be thin, which makes the cake extra moist.

    Divide batter evenly among the prepared pans. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

    Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Pour in heavy cream and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth, fluffy, and spreadable.

    Place the first cake layer on a serving plate. Spread frosting evenly on top. Repeat with the second and third layers. Frost the entire outside of the cake.

    Top with chocolate candies, drizzle chocolate syrup, and sprinkle chocolate shavings or sprinkles for a dramatic, chocolate-overload effect.

    Slice generously and savor the ultimate chocolate indulgence!
