    6 fresh ears of corn, husked and silks removed
    4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    1 teaspoon kosher salt (plus more to taste)

    Directions:

    Remove husks and silks from the corn. Rinse and pat dry. Trim ends if needed so the ears fit easily in your slow cooker.

    In a small bowl, mix softened butter and salt. Spread the butter mixture evenly over each ear for full flavor coverage.

    Wrap each buttered ear tightly in aluminum foil. This creates a steam pocket that keeps the corn extra tender and juicy.

    Place wrapped corn in the slow cooker. Stack if needed. No water required the corn will steam in its own moisture.

    Cook on LOW for 3–4 hours
    Or HIGH for 2–2½ hours
