This Easy Hobo Casserole is the ultimate comfort food recipe, loaded with ground beef (or turkey), tender potatoes, carrots, green beans, and a creamy mushroom sauce. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups carrots, thinly sliced
1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
2. Cook Meat In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
3. Mix Ingredients In a large bowl, combine the meat mixture with potatoes, carrots, green beans, mushroom soup, and milk. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
