Easy Hamburger Rice Casserole Delight
This comforting Hamburger Rice Casserole is a family-friendly classic! Loaded with ground beef, creamy mushroom and tomato soups, and topped with melty cheddar cheese, it’s the perfect easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 cup uncooked rice
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed tomato soup
1 ½ cups water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Chopped onions or bell peppers
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
3. Combine Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned beef, uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup, water, and any optional veggies. Stir until evenly mixed.
4. Season:
Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
5. Transfer to Baking Dish:
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
6. Bake Covered:
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
7. Add Cheese:
Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve:
