    1½ lbs russet potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced

    4. Layer the casserole:

    Potatoes (half)

    Ground beef (half)

    Sauce (half)

     

    5. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce on top.

    6. Cover with foil and bake 50–60 minutes.

    7. Remove foil and bake 20–25 minutes more until golden and bubbly.
