Easy Oven-Roasted BBQ Chicken (Juicy and Flavorful!)
If you’re craving juicy, tender BBQ chicken without firing up the grill, this easy oven-roasted BBQ chicken recipe is perfect for you! It’s packed with smoky flavor, brushed with a rich homemade barbecue sauce, and roasted to perfection for that irresistible sticky glaze. Perfect for family dinners, weekend cookouts, or meal prep!

Ingredients:
4 chicken thighs (or any chicken parts you prefer — drumsticks, wings, or breasts)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional, for a little heat)

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with foil for easy cleanup.

2. Prepare the chicken:
Pat the chicken dry using paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper to help the skin get crispy and flavorful.

3. Sauté the garlic:
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant — about 1 minute.

4. Make the BBQ sauce blend:
Stir in the BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, onion powder, and chili powder. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce becomes thick and aromatic.

5. Coat the chicken:
Arrange the chicken pieces in your baking dish. Brush or pour half of the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken, coating each piece evenly.

6. Roast the chicken:
Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, then remove the chicken and brush with the remaining BBQ sauce for that sticky, flavorful finish.

7. Continue baking:
Return the chicken to the oven and bake for another 20–25 minutes, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

8. Optional broil for crispiness:
For that perfect caramelized top, broil for 3–5 minutes at the end — but watch carefully to prevent burning.

9. Rest and serve:
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Tips for the Best Oven BBQ Chicken
For extra flavor, marinate your chicken in BBQ sauce for 1–2 hours before roasting.

Use bone-in, skin-on thighs for the juiciest results.

Leftovers? Store in an airtight container and reheat for a quick weeknight dinner.
