    Easy Crockpot Lasagna Recipe

    Looking for an easy lasagna recipe that practically cooks itself? This Crockpot Lasagna is packed with hearty ground beef, rich tomato sauce, and layers of gooey cheese, making it the ultimate slow cooker comfort food for busy weeknights or family dinners!

     

    Ingredients:

    1 lb (450g) ground beef

    1 medium onion, diced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 jar (24 oz/680g) marinara sauce

    1 can (15 oz/425g) tomato sauce

    1 tsp dried basil

    1 tsp dried oregano

    ½ tsp salt

    ¼ tsp black pepper

    1 package (9 oz/255g) no-boil lasagna noodles

    2 cups (450g) ricotta cheese

    2 cups (200g) shredded mozzarella cheese

    ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese

    1 large egg

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

     

    Instructions:

    1. Make the Savory Meat Sauce:

    In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain the fat.

    Add diced onion and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant.

    Stir in marinara sauce, tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

    2. Prepare the Creamy Cheese Mixture:

    In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1½ cups mozzarella, Parmesan, and the egg until smooth.

    3. Assemble the Lasagna in Your Crockpot:

    Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.

    Add a layer of no-boil lasagna noodles, breaking as needed to fit.

    Spoon over some cheese mixture.

    Continue layering sauce, noodles, and cheese until all ingredients are used, finishing with a sauce layer.

    4. Slow Cook to Perfection:

    Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, or until noodles are tender.

    5. Finish with More Cheese:

    About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top, cover, and let melt.

    6. Serve & Enjoy:

    Garnish with fresh parsley. Rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

     

    Recipe Tips:

    Add sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.

    Let lasagna rest before serving for cleaner slices.
