Ingredients:
Thinly sliced beef strips
1 tbsp cornflour
4 tbsp dark soy sauce
5 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp chilli powder or chilli flakes
2 tbsp white rice vinegar
5 garlic cloves, crushed
3 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
4 tbsp honey
300ml chicken stock
4 medium egg noodle nests
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 spring onions, chopped
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the beef strips, cornflour, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, chilli powder, white rice vinegar, crushed garlic, orange juice, hoisin sauce, and honey.
2. Add the mixture to your slow cooker. Cook on high for 2 hours.
3. After 2 hours, stir in the chicken stock, egg noodle nests, and sliced red pepper.
4. Cover and cook for another 20 minutes until the noodles are tender and the beef is perfectly coated in the rich, spicy sauce.
5. Before serving, mix in the spring onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
