Did You Grow Up Eating Corn Flakes with Bananas? Try This Recipe!

    Ingredients:

    – 2 cups wheat flour
    – 1 teaspoon baking powder
    – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    – 1/2 teaspoon salt
    – 1 cup mashed ripe banana
    – 2 cups corn flakes
    – 1/2 cup whipped butter or ghee
    – 3/4 cup sugar
    – 2 eggs
    – 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cashews

    Directions:

    1. In a bowl, mix together the wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
    2. In a separate bowl, combine the mashed banana with the corn flakes. Let it sit for 5 minutes until the flakes soften.
    3. In a large bowl, cream together the whipped butter (or ghee) and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and mix thoroughly.
    4. Gradually add the banana-corn flakes mixture to the butter-sugar mixture. Stir until fully incorporated.
    5. Fold in the coarsely chopped cashews.
    6. Gently stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
    7. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
    8. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
    10. Once cooled, slice the bread and wrap any leftovers in plastic wrap for freshness.

Enjoy this nostalgic treat of corn flakes and bananas in a delightful bread form!
