    Delicious Crispy Fried Chicken and Fragrant Fried Rice Recipe

    Ingredients:

    For the Fried Chicken:
    – 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
    – 1 cup buttermilk
    – 2 cups all-purpose flour
    – 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    – 1 tablespoon onion powder
    – 1 tablespoon paprika
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – Vegetable oil for frying

     

    For the Fried Rice:
    – 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
    – 2 tablespoons sesame oil
    – 1 onion, finely chopped
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and corn)
    – 2 eggs, lightly beaten
    – 3 tablespoons soy sauce
    – 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    – Green onions, sliced for garnish
    – Sesame seeds for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
    2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the coating for the fried chicken.

     

    3. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the chicken until golden brown, about 7-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
    4. For the fried rice, heat sesame oil in a skillet and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add mixed vegetables and cook until slightly tender.

    5. Push vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour beaten eggs onto the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix with the vegetables.
    6. Stir in cooked rice, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, cooking until the rice is well coated and heated through.
    7. Serve the crispy fried chicken with fragrant fried rice, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor.

     

    Prep Time: 1 hour 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 45 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours
