    Delicious Carrot Cake Recipe

    Ingredients:
    – 1 cup grated carrots – Adds moisture and natural sweetness.
    – 1 cup sugar – Sweetens the cake perfectly.
    – 1 teaspoon baking powder- Helps the cake rise.
    – 1 egg – Binds the ingredients together.
    – Butter – For greasing the pan.
    – 1/2 cup vegetable oil – Keeps the cake moist and tender.
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – Adds a lovely aroma.
    – 1 cup all-purpose flour- Provides structure to the cake.
    – 1 teaspoon baking soda – Works with the baking powder for a good rise.
    – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon – Adds warm spice flavor.
    – 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg – Adds depth of flavor.
    – 1/4 teaspoon salt- Enhances the overall taste.

     

    Method:
    1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the grated carrots, sugar, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    3. **Combine Dry Ingredients:** Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until just combined.
    4. Prepare the Pan: Grease and flour a cake pan.
    5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    6. Cool and Frost: Let the cake cool before frosting.
