Description:
This Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake is the ultimate slow-cooked comfort food! Tender bites of juicy steak, fluffy potatoes, and a creamy, cheesy ranch sauce come together in a satisfying dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy weekends.
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 small onion, diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Layer the base: In your Crockpot or slow cooker, combine diced potatoes, steak pieces, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Make the creamy sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together ranch dressing, sour cream, and heavy cream until smooth. Pour the sauce evenly over the steak and potatoes in the Crockpot.
3. Mix and slow cook: Gently stir the mixture to ensure everything is well coated. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the steak is fully cooked.
4. Add the cheesy topping: About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover again and let the cheese melt.
5. Garnish and serve: Top with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, creamy, and savory deliciousness!
